Allied Recruitment is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work out of a busy distribution centre. PM and Night drivers needed.

The Following Job roles are available:

  • BULK FARM: Drivers will be expected to collect from FARMS. Unit and Tanker set up with collection equipment at the rear of the trailer. Full 2 weeks of training will be given to the right candidate. We are looking for capable drivers due to the fact that farms are sometimes down unsuitable roads. Minimum 1 year of active HGV Class 1 experience in the UK is required. Pay rates: £14 Flat WD (minimum 8 hours), £15 Flat Sat (minimum 8 hours), £16 Flat Sun (minimum 8 hours).
  • TRUNK: Drivers will be required to complete a minimum of a 12 hour day and sometimes work to a full 15 hour day. When a night out is required the driver will be told before and booked accordingly. The job is predominately trunking however shop work is becoming more and more frequent. Excellent communication is key. Minimum 1 year of active HGV Class 1 experience in the UK is required. Pay Rates Are: £14 Flat WD (minimum 8 hours), £15.50 Flat Saturday (minimum 8 hours), £17 Flat Sunday (minimum 8 hours), +£25 Per Night Out.
  • STORES: Drivers will be expected to unload cages of milk to Large superstores. EXPERIENCE IS PREFERED BUT NOT REQUIRED. NEW DRIVERS ACCEPTED. Pay rates: £15.25 Flat WD (minimum 10 hours), £16.25 Flat Sat (minimum 10 hours), £17.25 Flat Sun (minimum 10 hours).

Qualifications we require drivers to have:

  • Valid and in date CPC Card
  • Valid and in date Tacho Card
  • Valid and in date C+E Licence
  • Experience preferred but not required.

Newly passed drivers accepted.
