We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for general labourers in Hemel Hempstead.
Working times will be 05:30am start and normally finish at 2pm. Anything worked past 8 hours in a day is paid time and a half. Will be arriving at site to bubble wrap parts and units and jumping into the lorry to help load off at any site given.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labour tasks including loading and unloading materials
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and structures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred but not essential
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous but not mandatory
