Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off

Hours: 8:00am - 8:00pm

Pay: £18.00 per hour + Overtime Available

As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, you'll complete four scheduled shunt runs per shift between the Banbury depot and Fine Lady. The two sites are just 3 miles apart, making this a straightforward role with minimal driving and a consistent daily routine.

Your duties will include:

  • Completing 4 shunt movements per day between the Banbury depot and Fine Lady.
  • Transporting bread, loaded trolleys, and empty trolleys.
  • Ensuring trailers are safely positioned for loading and unloading.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
  • Following all site health and safety procedures.

This is very light work with no heavy lifting, making it an ideal role for drivers looking for straightforward, ongoing work.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous Class 1 driving experience.
  • A good understanding of drivers' hours and road transport regulations.
