Pharmacy Assistant
Are you looking to build a rewarding career in community pharmacy? Allied Pharmacy in Marfleet is looking for a friendly and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our welcoming team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our branch, supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and helping to deliver a first-class service to every patient who walks through our doors.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the pharmacist and wider team with the accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Serving customers at the counter and offering helpful, friendly advice on over-the-counter products
- Receiving, checking and putting away stock deliveries
- Keeping the pharmacy clean, tidy and well-organised
- Handling patient queries in person and over the phone with care and professionalism
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and following all pharmacy procedures
What we're looking for:
- A warm, approachable manner and genuine passion for helping people
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Reliability, discretion and a willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or customer-facing role is beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided
Please note - This is a full time role (40 hours a week) Monday - Saturday
