Pharmacy Assistant

In this varied role, you'll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping our patients and customers feel genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and deliver a helpful, professional service at the counter
- Assist with the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Manage over-the-counter sales and offer guidance on general healthcare products where appropriate
- Receive, check and organise stock deliveries, keeping shelves tidy and well presented
- Handle prescription queries, referring clinical matters to the pharmacist
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all standard operating procedures
- Support the wider pharmacy team with general administrative and housekeeping tasks
What we're looking for
- A warm, approachable manner and a genuine commitment to excellent customer care
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to work calmly in a busy environment
- A reliable team player who is happy to turn their hand to a variety of duties
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail or healthcare setting is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided
- A respect for confidentiality and the importance of following established procedures
