We are looking for an experienced and motivated Multifunctional Printer Field Service Engineer to join our team at Allied Office Machines . Ideally, you’ll be based in the Hampshire or Dorset area to ensure we meet our service level commitments.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of a range of Ricoh Multifunctional Printers . You’ll ensure strict adherence to call procedures and quality standards, while maintaining a high first‑time fix rate and minimizing return visits. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long‑term client relationships.

What You’ll Do

As a Multifunctional Printer Field Service Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting & Repairs – Diagnose and resolve issues on print devices, ensuring a high first‑time fix rate and minimizing recall visits.
  • Customer Communication – Use your excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal departments.
  • Team Collaboration – Contribute to the ongoing development of the team and service performance by mentoring and assisting colleagues where needed.
  • Post‑Sale Support – Ensure all post‑sale field service requirements are met, including providing technical escalation support when required.
  • Record Keeping – Maintain accurate records in line with company guidelines.
  • Stock Management – Optimize customer stock inventory and rotation while balancing return‑to‑fit (RTF) visits.
  • Customer Training – Provide product instruction and training to customers as needed.
  • Service Improvements – Identify opportunities to improve maintenance and repair processes to enhance overall service performance.
  • Health & Safety Compliance – Follow company policies and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, including product safety checks.

  • ✔️ Understanding of Health & Safety Guidelines – Knowledge of safety protocols to ensure compliance and safe working practices.
