We have a great opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join an experienced team, providing a first-class service at our flour mill on a 6-month contract.
In this role, the successful candidate will ensure agreed standards of cleanliness, pest control and hygiene are maintained across the site.
Key Accountabilities:- Operate to procedures as defined within the site Quality, Food & Feed Safety, Environment and Health & Safety systems.
- Carry out cleaning operations in accordance with hygiene/cleaning schedules.
- Maintain hygiene equipment in a serviceable condition and report repairs.
- The minimisation and careful control of remix and refuse.
- The occasional unloading of materials.
- Liaison and communication with all departments across the site.
- Engages in the Safety-First culture and compliance with AMB internal policies and procedures.
- Ensures their own development and training needs are identified, participating in the proactive environment.
- Actively participates and contributes in the sharing of “Best Practice” within a food manufacturing environment.
- A great customer focus with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, be punctual and reliable.
- Health and Safety awareness (essential).
- Food Safety awareness (desirable).
- Experience of Hygiene / Pest Control activities, preferably in a food manufacturing environment (desirable).
- Able to drive a Forklift Truck (desirable).
