Allied Medical Group is seeking caring, reliable Ambulance Care Assistants to support our patient transport services. You will help patients travel safely and comfortably to and from healthcare appointments, hospital admissions and discharges, maintaining their dignity throughout each journey.
Duties include assisting patients with mobility needs, using patient transport equipment safely, driving company vehicles, completing patient documentation, and keeping vehicles and equipment clean and ready for use. You will work within your training and scope of practice, reporting any concerns about patient wellbeing.
Applicants must hold a recognised qualification suitable for an Ambulance Care Assistant role and a full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points. Good communication skills, a compassionate approach and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, references and confirmation of the right to work in the UK.
