The UK TPM team supports stakeholders across the Bank, including individual business areas and specialist functions within 1LOD, and the Operational Risk and Compliance teams within 2LOD. The UK TPM team has a key role in embedding TPM lifecycle processes, and providing essential TPM information both internally and to the UK regulators β PRA and FCA.
The UK Third Party Management (TPM) team is a first line function within the TPM, Continuity & Resilience team in UK COO. The team is responsible for implementing and overseeing a robust TPM governance framework on behalf of the UK COO that meets regulatory expectations, and ensures that UK Business Owners have sufficiently close oversight of third party providers in order to maintain a resilient service to the Bank and its customers. It achieves this by:
- Ensuring adherence to UK Regulatory requirements and internal TPM policy & standards.
- Coordinating and supporting the TPM Risk Assessment Processes (RAT).
- Analysing and reporting Management Information relating to Third Parties and Third Party risk.
- Managing and maintaining the UK Third Party Register.
- Conducting and coordinating the UK Third Party Risk Management Committee, UK Service Provision Forum (SPF), UK TPM Working Group, as well as onward submissions to the UK Risk Committee & UK Board Risk Committee.
- Representing AIB UK at Group TPM Committee and Group Supplier Relationship Management Forum.
- Providing Accountable & Business Owner training and support across the stages of the TPM lifecycle.
- Undertaking Assurance to the TPM lifecycle requirements.
- Holding the Business Owner role for the intragroup Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Management SLA.
Key accountabilities:
- UK TPM MI & Reporting
- Accurately calculate the monthly UK TPM Intragroup and External Third Party RAS, and maintain the supporting RAS EUC in line with required security standards.
- Produce high quality UK TPM MI Reports for UK SPF, UK Risk Committee and UK Board Risk Committee following the collation, aggregation and critical review of MI from the outputs of TPM Service Assessment and Risk assessments on Shield, monthly service and risk updates to SharePoint, events raised by intragroup providers, concentration risk assessments, RAS breach reports (when required). Answer queries and support the Business with inputs to MI reports.
- Coordinate the regular TPM work stream updates for inclusion in the Systems & Controls submissions to the UK Board Risk Committee, and to the PRA.
- Apply the highest data quality standards (consistency, accuracy, timeliness) in the maintenance of the UK Third Party Register.
- Prepare and collate required data for all Third Party UK regulatory submissions (including the annual TPM register), applying the highest data quality standards, and ensure that all submissions are successfully completed on time.
- UK Business Support
- Train new UK Business Owners in all elements of the TPM lifecycle, managing a repository of informative and engaging training material and ensuring it is up to date with the latest Group and UK requirements. Train existing Business Owners on any changes to current TPM processes.
- Maintain the UK Outsourcing SharePoint sites, ensure that all information is kept up to date and relevant documentation can be easily located. Maintain controls over user access.
- Secretariat/ facilitator for the monthly UK Service Provision Forum β maintain TOR, schedule meetings, prepare and timely circulation of high quality report packs and agenda, take minutes, and maintain an action log (follow up and track/escalate as required).
- Monitor and manage the UK TPM mailbox, and ensure responses to queries are issued in a timely manner. Subject Matter Expert in all elements of the lifecycle.
- UK TPM Support
- Ensure assigned Intragroup Service Level Agreements are regularly reviewed in line with regulatory requirements and business need.
- Support UK TPM manager in Business Owner role for the Group Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Management SLA.
- Ensure any 1-3LOD reports that have been issued relating to intragroup or Third party services are shared with the relevant UK Business Owners and committees.
- Provide SME level guidance on Supplier Relationship Management, reviewing and providing feedback to AIB Group SRM Standard.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels.
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills with proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 yearsβ experience of Sourcing, Third Party Management or other related risk management discipline, with demonstrable knowledge of relevant regulations.
- People management, training and/or mentoring experience would be beneficial.
