UK Corporate Origination – Infrastructure Team, London Role: UK Corporate Origination – Infrastructure Team Location: London This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office). Do you want to join a dynamic Infrastructure team delivering strong growth across with UK Corporate Banking? What is the Role Corporate Banking UK is a key strategic focus for AIB, and an area with strong growth ambitions across our chosen sectors – Infrastructure, Commercial Real Estate, Housing, Healthcare & Education, Hotels & Leisure, and Diversified Industries. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Infrastructure Team with a focus on sourcing, originating and delivery of new to Bank transactions. We would very much like to hear from credit professionals with lending experience and interested in working in a dynamic and fast paced business. We are seeking individuals with strong business and relationship management skills, all in accordance with the AIB Behaviours. Key Accountabilities Deliver on a strategic plan for the growth of the Infrastructure Sector for Corporate Banking UK. The end-to-end execution of transaction proposals including: transaction origination with senior team members, investment analysis, internal investment approval process and investment execution. Perform commercial and credit analysis on potential opportunities, to include both qualitative and quantitative due diligence and appropriate financial analysis and stress testing. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive credit applications for presentation to Credit Committee. Contribute to a customer relationship strategy for new and existing Corporate clients. Develop and maintain a culture of high performance, strong customer focus and compliance that is reflective of the AIB Behaviours. What You Will Bring Credit assessment and credit management skills. Strong analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively. Track record of sourcing (desirable), originating and delivery of new to Bank transactions. Strong relationship building and management skills with proven ability to manage new and existing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. The ability to demonstrate drive, flexibility, and a willingness to continuously improve performance and deliver stretching goals.
