About the Role
Brownrigg is a registered care home with 6 beds and currently 6 residents who receive support from our friendly, kind staff team. We are looking to hire committed and compassionate staff to join our professional team, whether you have experience or not. Applicants with NVQ 2 and experience are welcomed; however, if you have no experience within the care industry, you still have the opportunity to join as full training is provided. We will offer NVQ upon passing of probation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Our staff support adults with mental ill-health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment. This includes supporting daily living skill development, personal care, community-based activities, and working with behaviours that may present as challenging. Clients require 24/7 care, so weekend work is required; however, we share the responsibility to provide free weekend time for staff. The contract is 9 hours per shift on a 36 hours per week schedule.
