Responsibilities:

  • Support adults with learning disability and mental health conditions in their own homes.
  • Assist with skills development.
  • Administer medication in compliance with local guidelines.
  • Help with shopping and activities.
  • Attend medical appointments with service users.
  • Provide personal care and emotional support.
  • Prepare meals and drinks as required and serve them.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
  • Record information in documents and service user files on a daily basis.
  • Commit to follow a training programme in accordance with national requirements and take responsibility for professional development.
