Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect products from customers, suppliers and other organisations and locations, as required by the business.
- Drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards.
- Apply SAFED driving techniques to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency.
- Comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety.
- Comply with Company standards for customer service.
- Report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels.
- Follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
- Comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications.
- Carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

- Experience in food distribution or retail logistics and hold an up-to-date CPC card.
- Excellent customer service skills.
