Qualifications

  • Experience in food distribution or retail logistics (but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
  • Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
  • Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable

Role Overview

At Allied Bakeries, we are seeking full‑time, permanent Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team in Stockport, Greater Manchester. You will represent Allied Bakeries with pride, delivering our Kingsmill, Allison and Sunblest brands with professionalism and a smile. This is an excellent opportunity for safety‑focused, professional drivers who take pride in delivering to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make multi‑drop deliveries to customer stores, with daily routes and new challenges.
  • Work 48 hours per week on an 8‑week rotating shift pattern of 5 on and 3 off, including weekends and bank holidays, with start times between 02:00 and 04:30.
  • Uphold a safety‑first agenda, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and others.
