At Allied Bakeries, we’re seeking full-time, permanent Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team in Stockport, Greater Manchester. You will represent Allied Bakeries with pride, delivering our beloved Kingsmill, Allison, and Sunblest brands with professionalism and a smile.
This is an excellent opportunity for safety-focused, professional drivers who take pride in delivering to high standards. The role is physically demanding but offers excellent rewards and long-term prospects.
You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, on an 8-week rotating shift pattern of 5 on 3 off. This includes weekends and bank holidays, with start times between 02:00 - 04:30.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Diverse Deliveries: You'll be at the heart of our operations, making multi-drop deliveries to our customers' stores. Every day brings new routes and new challenges, keeping your workday dynamic and engaging.
- Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work-life with our 8-week rotating pattern—5 days on, 3 days off. This includes weekends and bank holidays, with start times between 2:00 AM and 4:30 AM, perfect for early birds!
- Safety First: Your commitment to safe driving will be a source of pride for us. You'll be instrumental in upholding our safety-first agenda, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and others.
The Right Person:
- Ideally experience in food distribution or retail logistics (but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
- Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable
