Hygiene Front Line Manager

b Overview /b p In this Hygiene FLM role, you will lead and develop the hygiene team to maintain high site standards for cleanliness and food safety, ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met. You’ll drive efficiency, oversee hygiene procedures, and deliver improvements while supporting audits and safety culture. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to influence performance and maintain KPI targets. This is a hands-on leadership position at a food manufacturing site with a strong emphasis on compliance, training, and continuous improvement. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead the hygiene team to sustain high hygiene standards across the site /li li Oversee hygiene scheduling, procedures, training, and coaching /li li Contribute to customer and third-party visits and audits /li li Identify and implement continuous improvement in hygiene operations /li li Assess resources and materials to maximize hygiene effectiveness /li li Recruitment within budget and daily employee management /li li Support health, safety, and quality culture /li li Manage and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) /li li Promote high conduct and performance standards /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li IOSH Managing Safely programme completion or willingness to complete /li li HACCP and Food Hygiene Level 3 /li li Experience in hygiene operations within a food manufacturing environment /li li Pest control knowledge is advantageous /li li Proven leadership, motivation, and change-management experience /li li Strong understanding of hygiene processes, systems, and their impact on efficiency and quality /li li Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines /li li Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills /li li Confident IT user /li /ul ul li leadership /li li communication /li li influencing /li li HACCP /li li Food Hygiene Level 3 /li li IOSH Managing Safely /li /ul
