We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Driver Assessor to join our Logistics team. This role is key in supporting our Driver CPC Training by delivering high-quality accredited CPC training and helping maintain the highest standards of driver compliance, safety, and operational performance across site.

Working closely with site Logistics, Transport and Depot Managers, you will prepare and deliver Driver CPC training modules, maintain training records, and support continuous improvement within our driver training programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about driver development, compliance, and creating an engaging learning environment. We’re looking for someone who can confidently engage drivers and adapt their delivery style to suit different learning styles and operational environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Driver CPC training to company and legal standards
  • Prepare and coordinate site training plans alongside Logistics and Transport teams
  • Ensure all drivers with a Driver Qualification Card receive the required annual accredited training
  • Upload and maintain training records accurately and within required timescales
  • Submit completed training information to the DVSA R&E system within required deadlines
  • Maintain accurate and compliant training documentation
  • Support the development and improvement of CPC training modules
  • Participate in trainer meetings and continuous professional development activities
  • Promote best practice in driver safety, legal compliance, and operational standards

Requirements:

  • Certified CPC Instructor/Assessor qualification (NRI/CRT/ADI or equivalent)
  • Level 3 qualification in Education/Training or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of transport legislation including drivers’ hours, tachograph rules, working time regulations, and operator licence compliance
  • Previous LGV driving experience (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and coaching others
