Our success is built on our people, and we’re now looking for a motivated and inspiring Despatch Front Line Manager to join our Logistics team and play a key role in leading safe, efficient and high-performing despatch operations.

About You

We’re looking for a confident and engaging people leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You’ll have experience leading teams within warehousing, logistics or FMCG operations and be passionate about driving performance, developing people and delivering excellent service. You’ll be someone who:

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage Despatch Operatives and Despatch Coordinators across shift operations
  • Set clear goals, expectations and performance standards to achieve operational KPI’s
  • Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and legal compliance
  • Ensure efficient labour utilisation using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and productivity enhancements
  • Resolve service issues promptly and elevate where appropriate
  • Prepare and present key operational information during reviews and meetings
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships to support overall site performance
  • Support a positive and high-performing team culture

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a warehouse or despatch operation
  • Supervisory or management experience within FMCG, logistics or manufacturing environments desirable
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership capability
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with enthusiasm, resilience and a proactive mindset
