As Reliability Engineer, you’ll take ownership of engineering performance within a designated area of the site, ensuring machinery, systems, and services operate safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies
- Driving improvements in plant reliability, efficiency, and product quality
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and costs
- Managing planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Carrying out and supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
- Presenting weekly engineering KPIs and performance updates
- Supporting manufacturing teams to maximise plant output
- Managing contractors and plant overhauls in line with RAMS and site standards
- Ensuring engineering procedures and documentation remain audit compliant
- Supporting a strong Health & Safety culture across site
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical engineering knowledge with excellent communication and problem-solving skills:
- Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good IT and PC literacy
- Ability to influence, engage, and work collaboratively across teams
