We're looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator or someone who is ready to take the next move in their career who can develop into this role. You'll play a key role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant and on the road, supporting the safe collection and delivery of goods to and from our customers. You will monitor performance and coach the team to ensure legal compliance and drive improved performance.

Key Accountabilities
The primary responsibilities for the role holder will be to:
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture
- Support drivers to follow company procedures ensuring they are legally compliant, monitoring pre/post use checks, complete infringement briefings and on the job coaching
- Manage commercial vehicle key control process
- Support the department's schedule adherence, losses and Right 1st Time KPIs
- Timely resolution and communication of all service related issues
- Build and develop effective relationships with other teams on site.
- Provide ad hoc management cover.
- Manage short term changes to the drivers rota
The Right Person
Essential:
- Experienced Professional Driver Category 2 (Category C)
- Transport office experience
- Willing to work shifts including lates and nights (4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern commencing at 5pm or 3am)
Desirable:
- Experienced Professional Driver Category 1 (Category C +E)
- Supervisory experience
