The aim of the Basket wash operative is to ensure that all waste is tipped daily and disposed of in the correct manner. Staff will need to ensure all vehicles are unloaded of baskets in a safe and timely manner, whilst ensuring a continuous supply of baskets to manufacturing. Also book in flour deliveries and changing the ingredients bags within the major minor area is also required.
Key Accountabilities
- Health & Safety – Reporting of hazards & Near misses
- Driving a FLT
- Feeding of baskets to maintain efficiencies in Manufacturing
- Clean as you go and responsibility for cleaning our tray wash
- Disposal of surplus waste
- To work flexible within the team
- To comply with all SSOW and standards
