As Reliability Engineer, you’ll take ownership of engineering performance within a designated area of the site, ensuring machinery, systems, and services operate safely and efficiently.

Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies
  • Driving improvements in plant reliability, efficiency, and product quality
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and costs
  • Managing planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Carrying out and supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
  • Presenting weekly engineering KPIs and performance updates
  • Supporting manufacturing teams to maximise plant output
  • Managing contractors and plant overhauls in line with RAMS and site standards
  • Ensuring engineering procedures and documentation remain audit compliant
  • Supporting a strong Health & Safety culture across site

Who We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical engineering knowledge with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline
  • City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
  • Project engineering experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT and PC literacy
  • Ability to influence, engage, and work collaboratively across teams
