We have an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stoke. The role is varied and challenging, involving proactive and reactive maintenance, repairs and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant and site services of a major bakery.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Focusing on safe working practices and site performance KPIs including OEE and CCOs.
- Diagnosing and correcting automation, electrical and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations.
- Ensuring our engineering strategy is delivered consistently.
- Delivering turn-key improvement projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Driving the performance of the Engineering function forward.
- Leading by example in Health and Safety, engaging others to always think and behave safely.
The Right Person:
- A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to train, coach and assist operators and other engineers.
- A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation or multi-skilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience.
- An enthusiastic and motivated individual, with a passion for continuous improvement, who is flexible and cooperative to meet business needs.
