We offer a hands‑on Engineering Team Leader role at our bakery in Stoke, overseeing the front‑line shift team and driving maintenance across the plant.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead safety initiatives, ensuring Health & Safety remains a priority.
- Focus on safe working practices and site performance KPIs including OEE and CCOs.
- Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical and mechanical issues during breakdowns.
- Ensure engineering strategy is delivered consistently.
- Deliver turn‑key improvement projects in a timely, cost‑efficient manner.
- Drive the performance of the Engineering function through effective shift team leadership, setting standards and developing engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Team player with excellent communication skills, able to train, coach and assist operators and engineers.
- Higher National Certificate (HNC) in electrical, automation or multiskilled engineering discipline desirable, supported by suitable experience.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, passionate about continuous improvement and flexible to meet business needs.

Hours: 4 on 4 off, 2 days 2 nights (12‑hour shifts)
Salary: £56,368.11
