Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.

Overview Of Role
- Location: Based in Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme)
- Hours: 48 hours a week (5 days including a Saturday, 2am starts)
- Salary: £37,956.37
Key Accountabilities
- To comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers.
- Deliver and collect products from customers, suppliers and other organisations and locations, as required by the business.
- To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards.
- To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency.
- To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety.
- To comply with Company standards for customer service.
- To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels.
- To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
- To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications.
- To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
