Warehouse Operative (Picker) – Full Time, Nights

Location: Stockport, North West

Salary: £30,957.24 per year

Shift Pattern: 4 in 7 shift pattern, including weekends. 10‑hour shifts, 40‑hour week. Permanent night shift.

Key Accountabilities:

• Safety First: Prioritise safety, report hazards, and work with managers to achieve Zero Harm.
• Adapting: Assemble and load products, pick orders, product control or decanting; remain open to learning new skills.
• Stock Rotation & Quality Control: Ensure fresh, high‑quality products reach customers.
• Keeping Things Moving: Identify and resolve issues such as stock shortages or product damage.
• Teamwork & Safety: Meet performance targets set by the warehouse management system while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
• Equipment Use: Operate forklifts and other MHE safely (training available).

What We’re Looking For:

Warehouse/distribution environment experience – desirable but not essential.

• Ability to work with numbers and follow processes accurately.
• Good level of fitness for light to heavy lifting.
• Excellent time‑keeping and organisation.
• Team player with a can‑do attitude and flexible approach.
• FLT licence – desirable but not essential.
