Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Your Role
Are you a skilled driver with a passion for excellence and safety? We are on the lookout for qualified, experienced Class 1 Night Delivery Drivers to join our expert team at our Stockport site. Daily Operations: Reporting to our Transport Front Line Manager, you will ensure the safe delivery and collection of goods, providing accurate information during driver debriefs.
Brand Ambassador: Represent Allied Bakeries with pride, delivering our beloved Kingsmill, Allinson’s, and Sunblest brands with professionalism and a smile.
When the country sleeps, you take command of the open road. As a Kingsmill HGV Class 1 Night Delivery Driver, you are the powerhouse behind getting Britain’s favourite bread exactly where it needs to be - fresh, fast, and ready for the morning rush. You will handle long‑distance night routes with confidence and skill, expertly transporting Kingsmill’s top‑quality products between depots, warehouses, and key retail partners.
Key Accountabilities
- Diverse Deliveries: You will be at the heart of our operations, with work that may include multi‑drop deliveries to our customers’ stores, as well as transporting goods across our wider network of bakery sites and customer distribution centres.
- Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work–life rhythm with our 8‑week rotating pattern—five days on, followed by three days off. This includes weekend and bank holiday working, with start times typically between 6pm and 10pm.
- Safety First: Your commitment to safe driving will be a source of pride for us. You will be instrumental in upholding our safety‑first agenda, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and others.
