Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.

Overview Of Role
Location: Stockport, North West
Annual Salary: £38,000 | Logistics Coordinator | Industry-Leading Benefits
Are you ready to take the wheel in a fast-paced logistics environment? Join our dynamic team in Stockport as a Logistics Coordinator and become a driving force behind our transport operations.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotating days and nights 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am (Average 42 hours per week)

Key Accountabilities
Leading and motivating your shift team to hit daily targets
???? Ensuring a safe working environment and promoting a strong safety culture
Supporting the Front Line Manager and stepping up when needed
️ Managing day-to-day shift operations and resolving issues quickly
Building strong relationships across Despatch, VMU, and other teams
Carrying out safety and performance audits
Ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance
Communicating clearly and positively with drivers and colleagues
Using your knowledge of EU driver regulations and fleet compliance to support smooth operations
What We\’re Looking For
Experience in a Coordinator/ Supervisor/ Managerial position
Experience in a fast-paced environment – ideally in transport or logistics
️ A confident communicator who can lead, motivate, and engage others
Organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure
Comfortable with multitasking and prioritising on the go
Strong IT Skills – SAP Experience Is a Bonus
Flexible and reliable – ready to support the team when needed
