Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.

As Environmental Services Analyst, you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end ownership, governance and continuous improvement of our D365 security and environment landscape. You will ensure the platform is secure, compliant, performant and scalable, while providing technical leadership across BAU operations and transformation programmes.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, project delivery partners and the wider IS organisation, you will play a key role in the migration of legacy ERP platforms into D365 and the ongoing evolution of the service. This is a fixed term role for 12-18 months.

Key Accountabilities
  • As part of a team, own and lead the D365 security and environment operating model, ensuring stability, compliance and alignment to Microsoft and ABF standards.
  • Act as the technical authority for D365 environments, security design and release governance across all supported businesses.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the existing Environment Team and third‑party partners operating within the D365 environment and security space.
  • Contribute to the definition and maintenance of an environment strategy, including provisioning, refresh, lifecycle management, release cadence and decommissioning.
  • Delivery security design and assurance, including role‑based access control, segregation of duties (SoD), audit readiness and compliance.
  • Partner with project teams to provide design authority and assurance for D365 migrations, upgrades and major change initiatives.
  • Work closely with implementation partners to shape scope, assumptions, delivery plans and long‑term platform roadmaps.
  • Govern release management activities using D365 LCS/PPAC, Azure DevOps and Microsoft release controls, ensuring controlled and predictable change.
The Right Person
  • Proven experience of owning enterprise system or ERP environments.
  • Deep, hands‑on expertise in D365 security and environment management.
  • Strong working knowledge of D365 LCS, Release Management and Azure DevOps.
  • SYSADMIN‑level experience, including definition and governance of business roles and security profiles within D365.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering ERP implementations, migrations and environment transformations.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and assurance within project and programme delivery.
  • Strong understanding of ISV integration, lifecycle management and support models.
  • Ability to balance operational excellence with strategic improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non‑technical audiences.
