Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well‑known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.
Overview Of Role
- Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
- Salary: £45,000 per annum
- Hybrid Working: On average 2 days in the office per week (subject to business requirements)
- Fixed Term: 12 months / Full Time
As an experienced ERP Application Services Analyst, you will be responsible for the continual delivery of services, support, maintenance, and assisting in projects in relation to our Dynamics 365, with particular emphasis towards Order to Cash and/or Planning. You will be operating as part of a team of application service analysts delivering related services and supporting the underpinning applications in the portfolio as well as ensuring services are continually developed & improved. You are expected to ensure that an effective support service is provided across the portfolio and ensuring they have sufficient base knowledge in other systems to do this. Application Services analysts will have specific technical knowledge in Dynamic 365 and significant experience managing and troubleshooting technical issues.
Role
The role of the ERP Application Services Analyst is to resolve application usage issues and problem resolution within our agreed SLAs, this includes but not limited to:
- Fixing ERP D365 operational issues.
- Troubleshooting and resolving reported problems.
- Assisting with the daily maintenance of the software within our application portfolio.
- Escalation management to our 3rd party support teams.
- Maintaining and updating our existing technical documentation within our application portfolio.
- Performing required project support/development.
This role may also require out of hours support as well as performing additional duties as agreed with the Head of Application Support Manager.

Key Accountabilities
As a D365 Application Support Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Technically proficient with Dynamics 365 and all associated technologies.
- Guide and manage updates of D365 and associated technologies to keep the product in line with Microsoft guidelines.
- Assist in requirements gathering and provide design guidance for mid to large sized Dynamics 365 projects.
- Jointly responsible for managing, development, customisations and integrations to meet the business needs within Dynamics 365.
- Review design proposals and provide technical direction, including recommendations on the best technical route to meet these business requirements.
- Communicate information to both internal and external teams.
- Participate with implementation delivery teams to develop a solution proposal that includes scope, assumptions, implementation plan and technology solution options to meet project goals and longer term needs.
- Maintain knowledge of third‑party software vendors to leverage complementary offerings and effectively compare solutions.
- Provide current best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design documents.
- Provide additional technical support, as required, for other solutions within the application portfolio.
- Continually update supporting documentation within the application portfolio.
The Right Person We’re Seeking a Detail‑oriented and Proactive Individual With:
- 3+ years’ experience of Dynamics 365 F&O, preferably in Order to Cash and/or Planning.
- Experience implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Demonstrable expertise in maintenance of Business Rules and Business Configuration.
- Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creation of Functional and Technical Specifications documentation for improvement projects including specifications for configuration changes, data migration and system integrations.
- Building and configuring of business workflows.
- Schedule work to be done and follow up to ensure completion within deadlines.
