Location: Belfast

Annual Salary: £31,706

Closing Date: Friday 26 September 2025

As a skilled Hygiene Team Member you will be responsible for effective and efficient cleaning of areas across site in line with the Company’s standards and procedures, whilst maintaining a safe, clean and pest-free environment. You will be working shifts 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights, 4 days week 1 and 3 days week 2, 7 to 7.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain your designated work area in a hygienic, pest-free, and safe condition, reporting any major system faults as necessary.
  • Conduct regular visual checks on your work area and equipment in line with procedures, promptly alerting any issues to the Engineering team.
  • Apply all necessary controls in accordance with site food safety, health & safety, and environmental management systems and procedures.
  • Support audits, review hygiene standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assess cleaning effectiveness in collaboration with Hygiene Technicians and the Site Services Manager.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental KPIs by identifying and supporting improvements in hygiene, deep cleaning, pest control, efficiency, or cost reduction.

The Right Person

  • Previous experience in a hygiene role.
  • Ability to obtain Basic Food Hygiene, Pest Awareness, and HACCP certifications.
  • A strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexible and cooperative, with a willingness to support business needs as required.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment, along with up-to-date Basic Food Hygiene, Pest Awareness, and HACCP qualifications would be desirable.
