Location: Based in Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme). Hours: 9.36 hours per week, Saturday 2am start.
Salary: £7115.85 per year.
We’re looking for a skilled HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our Stoke site. The role values dedication and expertise.
Key Accountabilities
- Comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers.
- Deliver and collect products from customers, suppliers, and other organizations and locations as required by the business.
- Drive company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, complying with the Highway Code and any company standards.
- Apply SAFED driving techniques to maximise safety and fuel efficiency.
- Follow company delivery and collection procedures, including picking from bulk order loads and order adjustments, with health and safety compliance.
- Adhere to company standards for customer service.
- Report any variations in product quality or service levels to the FLM immediately.
- Account for company products and equipment (bread baskets, pallets, store returns, buffer stock) according to company procedures.
- Comply with company requirements for driver training and communications.
- Carry out duties such as unloading, refuelling, washing vehicles in accordance with SOPs.

- Experienced drivers with food distribution or retail logistics background and up-to-date CPC card.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Team player committed to health, safety, and well-being.
