We offer a hands-on Engineering Team Leader role at our bakery in Stoke, overseeing the front-line shift team and driving maintenance across the plant.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead safety initiatives, ensuring Health & Safety remains a priority.
  • Focus on safe working practices and site performance KPIs including OEE and CCOs.
  • Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical and mechanical issues during breakdowns.
  • Ensure engineering strategy is delivered consistently.
  • Deliver turn-key improvement projects in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
  • Drive the performance of the Engineering function through effective shift team leadership, setting standards and developing engineers.

What We're Looking For

  • Team player with excellent communication skills, able to train, coach and assist operators and engineers.
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) in electrical, automation or multiskilled engineering discipline desirable, supported by suitable experience.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, passionate about continuous improvement and flexible to meet business needs.
