Location: Allied Bakeries Stoke
Hours: 2 days 2 nights – 4 off pattern (Days 07:00 – 19:00; Nights 19:00 – 07:00)

Join our Logistics Team. As a Despatch Operative, you will ensure orders are despatched accurately and on time with a focus on safety. Responsibilities include product receipt, loading and unloading vehicles, order picking and product allocation.
Key Accountabilities
- Demonstrate a “Safety First” approach at all times; be proactive in hazard reporting and work with despatch coordinators and FLMs to target Zero Harm.
- Follow instructions, training, procedures and guidelines as set out by the site/department.
- Be flexible across tasks within the despatch operation, including order picking, decanting, loading, unloading and product control; be open to learning and developing new skills.
- Achieve performance targets as measured by the WMS and other systems.
- Develop personal knowledge and skills, maintain a positive, can-do attitude, and reflect the company values.
- Contribute to site standards and audits; maintain a clean-as-you-go approach.
- Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships to optimise performance of the function.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a warehouse environment (preferably FMCG) with high standards and attention to detail; willing to work to rigorous procedures. FLT experience is essential; external FLT licenses are desirable.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy; computer literate.
- Conscientious and flexible with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer and quality focus.
