Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Overview Of Role
Job Profile: Despatch Operativeđ Location: Allied Bakeries Stoke
Hours: 2 days 2 nights â 4 off pattern (Days 07:00 â 19:00. Nights 19:00 â 07:00)
Salary: ÂŁ30,914.80
Key Accountabilities
- Demonstrate the âSafety Firstâ approach at all times. Being proactive with hazard reporting, working with despatch coordinators and FLMâs to target Zero Harm.
- Follow instructions, training, procedures and guidelines as set out by the site/department.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach when moving between the various tasks within the despatch operation, including order picking, decanting, loading, unloading and product control; being open and willing to learn and develop new skills.
- Achieve the performance targets set; measured by the WMS and other supporting systems and measures.
- Drive their personal development, ensuring their knowledge and skills are utilised and developed, demonstrating a positive can do attitude to their work, reflecting the Companyâs Values at all times.
- Actively contribute to site standards and respective internal and external audits. Ensuring a âclean as you goâ approach at all times.
- Build and develop effective relationships with other teams on site to ensure crossâfunctional working and the optimal performance of the function is achieved.
What Weâre Looking For
- Experience in a warehouse environment, preferably FMCG, with high standards, good attention to detail and a willingness to work to rigorous procedures.
- Experience with FLT (Essential). External FLT licenses (desirable).
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, as well as computer literate.
- Conscientious and flexible in your approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have a strong customer and quality focus.
