Overview

This role is responsible for the general day to day cleaning of vehicles on site along with supporting the garage with support tasks and maintenance of garage, internal and external areas. The working hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm.

Key Accountabilities

  • Cleaning vehicles internals and externals to an agreed rota.
  • Efficient operation of your area, cleaning to agreed standards and frequencies.
  • Demonstrate your responsibilities in adhering to Allied Bakeries site standard operating procedures and actively contribute to these standards.
  • Work in a safe manner observing all Health & Safety standards.
  • Follow all instructions, guidance and training given at all times, sharing best practice through cross functional working and adopting what is learned into the daily routine/role.
  • Support VMU by carrying out lubricant & coolant checks on vehicles.
  • Moving vehicles on and off site when required (on achievement of Cat C license).
  • Load vehicles with ballast for vehicle brake testing compliance purposes.
  • General upkeep of external yard areas.
