As a Bakery Operative, you will play a key role in producing high-quality bakery products within a busy and highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Engage in the Safety First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping
- Monitor product quality and consistency
- Support the efficient operation of production lines
- Take part in training and development activities, including 1-to-1 sessions

The Right Person
Essential
- Good awareness of Health, Safety and Food Safety
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, including record keeping and following instructions
- A positive can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn
Advantageous
- Understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards)
- Understanding of baking process
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate IOSH or equivalent
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Starting at £28,791.60 increasing to £32,172.07 after successful completion of training.
- Shifts: Average if 42 hours per week.
- This role operates 12-hour rotating shifts, on a varied shift pattern, including night work and weekends., Time Off - 24 days annual leave
