Role Description

The Securities & Redemptions Officer plays a key role in the effective management of post completion activities, undertaking all relevant post completion requirements relating to all Allica Lending products.

Including, for example, Land Registry checks, Redemptions, Releases, Lease reviews and annual reviews.

  • Principal Accountabilities
  • Supporting the Team Lead with Securities and Redemption.
  • Delegated authority – this could be for agreed 4eye checks, redemption sign offs, lease reviews.
  • First point of contact for Securities and Redemption queries, triaging before hand off to team Lead.
  • Reviewing procedure guides to ensure up to date processes are captured.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Securities and Redemption queries.
  • Support the Team Lead on key functions like redemption sign-offs, lease reviews, and procedural updates.
  • Contact customers and/or professional advisors for required information.
  • Ensure all post-completion tasks are undertaken including ensuring that any post-completion undertakings are met within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all legal/valuation partners to ensure smooth and timely exchange of correspondence and communication.
  • Undertake lease reviews and take ownership of Deeds documents or any such in-life documentation that requires the Bank’s oversight.
  • Liaise positively with Relationship Managers when in receipt of Redemptions and Partial Redemptions requests to retain Business where possible.
  • Personal Attributes & Experience
  • Experience in commercial mortgage lending, with a strong grasp of securities, redemption processes, and post completion lifecycle.
  • Strong customer service ethic.
  • A generic knowledge of the commercial environment and lending pipeline management.
  • Confident handling Deeds, Leases, and other in-life lending documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Outstanding problem solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
