Overview

Role leads Allica’s Talent Acquisition at a pivotal growth moment. You will own the recruitment strategy across the UK and India, and shape a high-performing TA function with four staff. You’ll drive pipeline-led hiring, partner with senior stakeholders, and leverage data to improve speed, quality and candidate experience. The role includes expanding recruitment capability for international growth, including Sweden, while ensuring governance and efficient processes. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing fintech helping established SMEs.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end TA strategy and annual hiring plan for UK and India, translating growth plans into priorities, capacity and delivery
  • Lead a team of four (three direct reports); set standards, coach, develop, and allocate work
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment across the bank with focus on quality, speed, diversity and candidate experience
  • Shift towards pipeline-led recruitment with direct sourcing and talent pooling across tech, banking, risk, commercial and operational roles; manage external spend
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and hiring managers; improve capability in role definition, interviewing, calibration and decision-making
  • Establish recruitment MI and regular reporting on hiring demand, time to hire, source effectiveness, offers, funnel conversion and recruiter productivity; leverage Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Sage People
  • Own continuous improvement of recruitment processes, ATS/HR tech and supplier governance
  • Identify and embed AI and automation opportunities to improve sourcing, screening, engagement, recruiter productivity and reporting, with governance
  • Partner with People, Marketing and leaders to strengthen employer brand and candidate experience

Key requirements

  • Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition in a high-growth technology, fintech or financial services organisation, ideally in-house
  • Experience leading a recruitment team through growth and change, with evidence of capability development and performance improvement
  • Strong end-to-end recruitment expertise across multiple disciplines including technology and specialist roles
  • Direct sourcing and talent-pipeline capability with pragmatic agency management
  • Strong data and commercial fluency; ability to turn recruitment data into insights for senior stakeholders
  • Experience improving recruitment operating models, processes, governance and ATS/tech-enabled ways of working
  • Credible stakeholder management; ability to influence senior hiring managers
  • Experience using AI or automation to improve recruitment activity with good governance
