About Allica Bank: Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Department Description: We are a small but mighty team responsible for telling Allica’s story to build trust, drive growth and bring our product and purpose to life for our key audiences: established business owners, brokers and accountants. Our team looks after brand marketing, communications, partnerships and includes our in-house creative studio.

Role Description: Business owners don’t have time for waffle. They want clear, simple communication that helps them get on with running their business. The same goes for the expert accountants and brokers that advise them. As Allica’s Copywriter for the partnerships marketing team, you’ll own all copy and messaging for two of Allica’s most important channels – brokers and accountants. You’ll sit as part of our in-house creative studio, delivering sharp, on-brand copy for our broker and accountancy channels.

You’ll take on the day-to-day content writing that keeps this critical part of Allica moving: from emails and web pages, to ads, brochures, blogs and social posts. Alongside thinking about how we can continue improving our messaging to better engage these audiences, and becoming an authoritative voice on what makes them tick.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Own partnerships messaging and tone of voice.
  • Develop and manage messaging frameworks for our accountancy and broker channels.
  • Ensure messaging is consistent and engaging for these two key audiences, while also in line with the Allica brand.
  • Educate and inform yourself to become an authoritative voice on our broker and accountancy channels and how we best engage with them.
  • Act as a tone of voice guardian for all partnerships content, ensuring all our content is no-nonsense, approachable and authoritative.
  • Work with the partnerships marketing team to test and optimise messaging based on channel performance.
  • Execute copy requests from the broker and accountancy partnerships marketing teams to fuel growth and engagement.
  • Work closely with the designers and web team in the studio to bring strong creative to life.
  • Take a holistic view of content and copy requests, owning delivery of projects where appropriate.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business on go-to-market rollouts, product messaging and campaign support.
  • Maintain Allica’s AI copywriting tools updated with fresh broker and accountancy channel messaging.
  • Proactively explore how AI can enable you to be more productive.
  • Create prompts, workflows and simple tools that help teams produce better drafts when self-serving.
  • Help colleagues understand how to use AI safely and effectively, without replacing craft or judgement.

Personal Attributes & Experience:

  • Experience writing clear, concise copy for multiple formats (emails, web pages, blogs, social, brochures and more).
  • Strong long-form writing skills, with the ability to understand complex topics and turn them into simple, engaging content.
  • Experience writing for a professional services audience (in particular brokers or accountants) or for business owners.
  • Interested in understanding what motivates brokers, accountants and business owners, and how different audiences respond to messaging.
  • A natural storyteller who can shape ideas, not just write to a tight brief.
  • Excellent grammar, attention to detail and a love of straightforward, jargon-free language.
  • Confident using AI as a supportive tool – able to critique and improve outputs rather than rely on them.
  • Comfortable building prompts, templates or workflows that support good self-service copywriting.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple requests and manage deadlines.
  • A collaborative way of working – open to feedback, confident asking questions and comfortable partnering with designers, marketers and product teams.
  • Curious, proactive and motivated to help build a more efficient copy function across the business.

Benefits:

  • Full onboarding support and continued development opportunities.
  • Options for flexible working.
  • Regular social activities.
  • Pension contributions.
  • Discretionary bonus scheme.
  • Private health cover.
  • Life assurance.
  • Family-friendly policies including enhanced Maternity & Paternity leave.
