Accounting & Reporting (AR) provides reliable, qualitative financial information to management, investors, analysts and the public in general through external reporting of Allianz SE and Allianz Group. Members of AR ensure the adherence to the highest quality standards in accounting and financial reporting to support Allianz\' s reputation as a top-tier global financial institution.
This position is an ideal opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in accounting and learning more about the insurance industry. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge and broaden your exposure to handling different topics with different team members, and multi-tasking.
How can you make an impact?
- As part of our team, you will assist us in supporting the team in a broad spectrum of tasks, ranging from accounting research, preparing reports and presentations, testing, updating the statutory accounts, organizing events, to managing administrative tasks
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree program in Business administration/Economics/Finance with a focus on international accounting
- Proficient in the use of MS tools including Word, Powerpoint, Excel
- Capable to easily communicate in English

- Certificate of enrolment (exception gap year)
- Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in Accounting or Reporting would be ideal
- Initial knowledge of international accounting (IFRS)
- Able to convey complex issues clearly and succinctly both orally and in writing
- Genuine interest in accounting and the insurance industry
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as results-oriented attitude
