This involves ensuring that all corporate and indirect compliance tax matters are sufficiently maintained, fulfilling all tax reporting requirements of Allianz SE and assisting with tax advisory and specific projects as required. Role Description As a Tax Accountant, you will contribute towards delivering a high performing central tax function for the Allianz UK Group. This involves ensuring that all corporate and indirect compliance tax matters are sufficiently maintained, fulfilling all tax reporting requirements of Allianz SE and assisting with tax advisory and specific projects as required. Salary Information Pay: Circa £52k per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package. This is a Fixed Term Contract Opportunity for a period of 12 months. About You Prepare, submits and obtains agreement (by HMRC) of all relevant corporate and indirect tax returns and payments required. Maintain compliance records and documentation to ensure that all the required tax filings and payments are made by the statutory deadline. Fulfil all tax reporting requirements of Allianz SE. Maintain tax accounts and balances for the Allianz Insurance UK Group. Provide support in respect of tax advisory matters or specific tax projects. Keeps up-to-date with tax technical matters and communicates relevant tax matters to the business as required. Builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders, advisors and tax authorities. Essential Skills Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CTA Proven experience of corporate and/or indirect tax. Experience in tax reporting. IT literate including excellent Word and Excel skills. The ability to interpret and clearly explain tax technical issues and conduct and interpret research. Highly organised and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks. We support the government scheme “Access to Work” please feel free to ask us about the access to work scheme. Desirable Skills Experience of tax specialist software such as OneSource. Experience of accounting systems such as SAP.
