The purpose of this role is to own the relationship for assigned strategic UK brokers for the business, building and maintaining long-term sustainable trading relationships. The individual is the primary point of contact for these brokers and co-ordinates the business proposition to enable profitable growth of the overall strategic relationship.
This role often involves full line management responsibility and/or roles offering a higher level of professional expertise to customers or colleagues. Responsibilities may include setting standards within their team or providing in-depth knowledge and experience to guide others.
Available locations: This is a Homebased working role, with the expectation to travel where business requires.
Salary Information: Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- Own the individual broker profit and loss account, expenses, and KPIs
- Manage delivery against Corporate Plan targets
- Create and manage account plans, ensure alignment with Corporate Plan targets
- Take corrective action where required
- Manage virtual teams, stakeholders and governance processes and procedures
- Develop, communicate, and implement broker strategy
- Build strong relationships with partners (existing and new customers)
- Understand their business, trading models, and structure
- Negotiate strong commercial outcomes
- Facilitate internal stakeholder engagement
- Execute strategic projects and business initiatives
- Stay up to date with Insurance market developments, Partner sector trends, Technology, competitors, and regulation
- Drive discussions to evolve business strategy and apply new perspectives using existing solutions
- Contribute towards the strategy of their business area (accountability lies with senior leadership)

- Understanding of the distribution environment
- Awareness of regulatory, agency, and compliance requirements
- Strong financial acumen
