Role Summary: Contribute to the annual volume of loans targeted by the Investors through the origination of multiple transactions across European markets. Transactions originated must be eligible under the mandate guidelines provided by the Investors [Allianz & Third-Party investors]. The Senior Origination Manager Debt has the responsibility of managing a deal from A to Z: he/she leads the working pair and can manage complex transactions acting as the captain of the deal. He/she has the responsibility of running the whole process from credit committee to closing the transaction, including internal processes and due-diligence process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for negotiating all legal documentation (term sheet, loan documentation) with the Borrower.
  • Reviewing, checking and finalizing the internal credit application documents (FactSheet and Investment Proposal).
  • Mastering all the internal tools (rating tool, cash flow model etc.) and verifying the validity and consistency of the outcomes.
  • Supervising the review of the information package provided by the Borrower and validating the cash flow model (base and stress case).
  • Training and responsibility of the junior members of the team.
  • Strong knowledge of the markets and players support his/her origination capacities.

Key Requirements:

  • 10 year-experience in lending or structured financing.
  • A sound network of potential clients.
  • Good communication, good negotiation skills and commercial skills.
  • Good modelling skills, and ability to train and teach juniors.
  • Advanced graduate degree in Real Estate, Management, Finance, Economics or similar qualifications.
  • CFA or RICS is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with Argus Enterprise is a plus.
  • Experience in an international, multicultural business environment.
  • Ability to navigate across different projects and departments and to work with a wide variety of different people in the organization.
  • Hands-on mentality and persistence to carry out projects and tasks.
  • Language wise: English as a must, French (preferable), an additional European language is a plus.
