We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team of accountants at Allianz UK, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of external reporting and the implementation of new accounting standards across the Group. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.
As part of our team, you'll be at the forefront of statutory reporting, liaising with auditors, and spearheading regulatory reporting efforts, including Solvency II. This is an exciting time in the finance sector, marked by transformative International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and regulatory changes. These developments present significant challenges and opportunities for personal growth. We're seeking a proactive individual who is eager to embrace this period of change and contribute to our vibrant team culture.
This role can be based in either of our Bournemouth or Guildford offices with expectation of attending one day per week.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £70,000. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- Takes a lead role in group reporting
- Prepares the statutory accounts including all disclosure notes and the Solvency II regulatory returns.
- Liaises with the auditors on queries related to the statutory accounts and solvency II regulatory returns
- Actively seeks to enhance and improve processes.
Essential Skills
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good technical accounting knowledge.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and a proven track record of meeting reporting deadlines.
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
Desirable Skills
- Working knowledge of SAP
