You will work as part of a customer-focused team to support and deliver customer and broker experience strategy and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business outcomes, enhance customer journeys, and shape best-in-class experiences across Allianz.
Location: This role is based in our Guilford office, please note that this is a hybrid working role with the expectation to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Salary Information: Pay: Circa £55,000 per year. This is based on your experience, skills and location and is part of our total rewards package.
About You
- You are naturally curious and passionate about understanding customer needs, behaviours and expectations, championing their voice across the business.
- You have experience designing, delivering and interpreting customer research to generate meaningful insight.
- You are confident using qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand customer and broker experiences.
- You can translate customer feedback, research findings and data into clear recommendations that support business decision-making.
- You enjoy identifying themes, trends and pain points across customer journeys and turning them into practical improvement opportunities.
- You are comfortable working with data, insight tools and research outputs to build a strong evidence base for change.
- You can communicate complex research findings in a clear, engaging and actionable way for different audiences.
- You are proactive in keeping up to date with customer experience, market research and industry trends.
- You are collaborative, organised and able to manage multiple research or insight activities at pace.
- You are comfortable challenging assumptions and using evidence to influence positive change.
Essential Skills
- Skilled in designing and delivering customer research using qual and quant methods.
- Confident in developing research briefs, discussion guides, surveys and interview frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable improvements.
- Strong understanding of customer experience measurement approaches, including NPS and customer journey metrics.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Understanding of Consumer Duty and conduct requirements within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of research governance, data protection and ethical research practices.
- Experience working in matrix environments and collaborating across teams.
Desirable Skills
- Research qualification or equivalent experience.
- ACII qualification or progress towards completion.
- Experience using tools to measure and analyse customer experience.
- Exposure to customer vulnerability and conduct considerations.
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.
