As a Regional Sales Manager for Allianz Trade for Multinationals in Northern Europe, you will play a pivotal role in driving portfolio growth through the acquisition of new customers. You will be responsible for executing the Allianz Trade for Multinationals Growth Plan in the region, developing and implementing market-specific sales strategies, and ensuring the successful acquisition and implementation of multinational programs. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven individual with advanced knowledge of the credit insurance industry, exceptional networking abilities, and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Main Tasks

  • Develop and implement market-specific sales plans across Northern Europe, aligned with cross-sell initiatives and the Multinationals Growth Plan.
  • Achieve portfolio growth, sales, and activity targets by:
  • Creating effective sales strategies across multiple distribution channels (Direct, Broker, Bank, Affiliate Networks).
  • Acquiring new customers using marketing funnels, personal leads, and prospect lists as outlined in the MNC Marketing Plan.
  • Organizing and participating in local networking events with Market Management support (e.g., conferences, business updates).
  • Tracking and updating sales activities in CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Structuring and presenting new business offers internally and externally, in line with the current distribution strategy.
  • Manage the prospecting and customer acquisition process from opportunity qualification to business implementation and Master Agreement signature.
  • Conduct a full assessment of prospects' needs to create comprehensive profiles using dedicated templates.
  • Collaborate with the Credit team to review credit risk appetite and capacity for potential World Programs.
  • Develop and negotiate proposals in line with commercial underwriting guidelines, authority rules, and standards.
  • Define and validate commercial terms, conditions, and pricing, ensuring alignment with pre-check results.
  • Formalise Master Agreements and oversee program implementation setup.
  • Take personal responsibility for implementing group-wide quality of service standards, measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Service existing brokers based on segmentation and maintain strong relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with core and multinational functions (e.g., Credit, Central Team, Account Managers) and participate in cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure profitability and quality of the customer portfolio by applying commercial underwriting standards.
  • Oversee the implementation process for new programs, coordinating and steering Deal Team activities.
  • Support and train Commercial Officers to uphold program acquisition and implementation standards.
