We're seeking an experienced Senior Events and Marketing Manager to lead the strategic planning, management, and execution of a diverse portfolio of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. This role supports Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty's business development, client engagement, thought leadership, and brand reputation goals. Acting as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, you'll ensure events align with commercial priorities and compliance standards while driving innovation in marketing and branding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a variety of events (conferences, client events, sponsorships, etc.) from concept to post-event evaluation.
- Define objectives, target audiences, and success metrics to maximize ROI.
- Manage third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Oversee event budgets, financial reconciliation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as a compliance advisor for events and sponsorships, ensuring adherence to Allianz and industry standards.
- Collaborate with local and global teams to align activities with broader initiatives.
- Manage event-related systems (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent), provide training, and ensure data accuracy.
- Produce post-event analysis and ROI reports to drive continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate events and hospitality, preferably in insurance.
- Proven track record of delivering high-profile events aligned with commercial objectives.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, governance, and reputation management.
- Experience in global matrix organizations and proficiency in event technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent).
- Excellent communication, influencing, and analytical skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
