We are looking for a Portfolio Solutions / Facilities Claims Manager based in London.
Your Team
Allianz is committed to delivering on our claims promise. At Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), we are committed to deliver superior claims experience to our customers: before, during and after a loss.
The Impact You Will Have
As our Facilities Claims Manager, you'll provide the operational oversight that keeps our facilities and binder claims running smoothly across Regional Claims. This isn't a hands‑on claims handling role — it's about making sure the right frameworks, controls and governance are in place so that the London Claims department's booking process operates accurately and efficiently, and that every facility and binder claim is captured correctly in our systems.
You'll be the central point of coordination between our Third Party Administrators (TPAs), the Claims Strategic Partnerships Management team, offshore operations, and regional claims teams — the person who ensures everyone is aligned, accountable, and working to the same standards.
Your focus will be on ensuring adherence to the facilities booking process and maintaining quality across the board, while overseeing bordereaux receipt compliance so we stay in control of our data. You'll have clear line of sight over Allianz's reserve and payment positions, making sure they accurately reflect our true exposure with no surprises.
A significant part of the role involves developing and refining management information that tracks TPA performance and gives leadership real visibility, alongside championing document governance and robust tracking across the department. You'll also make sure that claims considerations are embedded into portfolio management decisions and reviews — not treated as an afterthought. And through all of this, you'll be driving the continuous improvement of our claims operations, always looking for smarter, sharper ways to work.
You won't just be overseeing a process — you'll be protecting the integrity of our claims data, strengthening our partnerships, and making sure the decisions we take are built on a solid foundation. If you're someone who thrives on bringing order to complexity and loves being the person who ensures everything runs as it should, this is your role.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Oversee the end-to-end facilities claims booking process, ensuring all facility and binder claims are booked individually into the claims system in accordance with the Facilities Claims Booking Process, including correct policy selection, coverage identification, and reserving.
- Act as the primary point of contact for facilities claims matters, liaising with underwriters, CSPM, regional claims teams, TPAs, and offshore operations to resolve queries and ensure smooth process execution.
- Manage and track bordereaux receipt and compliance by monitoring the timely receipt of monthly bordereaux from TPAs against contractually agreed dates, operating the escalation framework and maintaining the Claims Bordereaux Dashboard.
- Drive TPA adherence to delegated authority requirements, ensuring TPAs comply with claims handling delegations, sanctions screening obligations, and reporting standards, escape persistent non-compliance to CSPM, contract signatories, and Claims leadership.
- Manage offshore claims booking operation, coordinating with the offshore team responsible for administrative claims creation and loss fund processing, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to process standards.
- Maintain and develop management information and reporting, owning and enhancing the Claims Bordereaux Dashboard and related tracker to provide real-time visibility of sender performance, on‑time compliance trends, and line‑of‑business performance to Claims leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Allianz Commercial claims handling functional rules across all claims handling, payment validation, and sanctions screen activities.
- Support the onboarding of new facilities to the claims booking process during renewal cycles, working with CSPM and the Portfolio Solutions team to ensure process readiness and TPA awareness.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Good understanding of facilities, binders, TPAs and delegated claims authorities.
- Understanding of bordereaux management and data quality refinements.
- Appreciation of authority limits, referral requirements and governance controls.
- Outstanding analytical skills with ability to analyze complex data / information from multiple sources.
- Strong time‑management ability, utilising that to ensure the compliance by others to deadlines.
