Protection and Resilience Senior Associate - Business Continuity Management in Guildford

We have a new opportunity within Protection and Resilience as a Senior Resilience Associate. Reporting to the Head of Business Continuity you will be responsible for refining and implementing a Resilience framework and related policies, with day‑to‑day oversight of the execution of the Resilience framework across Allianz UK. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Business Continuity Management lifecycle, ensuring consistent application of BCM activities across the organisation.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Operational Resilience framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and integration with wider business continuity and risk‑management activities.
• Design, plan and facilitate scenario‑based resilience exercises, ensuring severe‑but‑plausible scenarios that effectively test the organisation’s response capabilities and recovery strategies.
• Maintain the organisation’s site‑specific Emergency Response Plans, ensuring they remain current and actionable; facilitate Emergency Response Team calls when required.
• Lead and coordinate annual BCM maturity self‑assessments.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, promoting awareness of resilience obligations, embedding good practice, and supporting capability uplift across the organisation.

Qualifications – Essential Skills

• Self‑motivated and achievement‑oriented.
• Willingness to learn and develop through self‑driven personal development.
• BCCI Certification or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence to communicate and influence at all levels.
