About You
As our P&C Underwriter, you’ll:
- Lead on major and high‑value deals, applying your expertise to secure and retain strategic accounts that directly accelerate business growth.
- Build deep, trusted relationships with brokers, collaborating to uncover new opportunities and strengthen our competitive position in the market.
- Confidently represent the business through in‑person meetings, networking, and active participation in industry events, showcasing our capabilities and elevating our brand.
- Support and elevate team performance by mentoring colleagues, reviewing referrals, and championing consistently high standards of service delivery.
- Partner closely with internal teams to streamline processes, break down barriers, and deliver seamless, client‑focused outcomes.
- Serve as a dependable, knowledgeable point of contact for priority clients, anticipating their needs and providing tailored, timely support that reinforces long‑lasting relationships.
Essential skills
- Underwriting expertise across complex Property & Casualty risks, whether you’re already operating at senior level or a high‑performing P&C Underwriter.
- Proven success handling large or technically complex cases, demonstrating sound judgement, strong analytical skills and disciplined approach to managing risk.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building ability, with a strong track record of developing broker partnerships that drive growth, strengthen retention, and enhance market presence.
Desirable Skills
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage with experience using Generative AI tools such as onsite Webchat / Chat Bot systems.
